 The Company
Now part
of the Boluda Group, this firm, known as AUXMASA, had its beginnings in 1966 when a group
of friends decided that they would form a limited company to provide tug services.
The Services
That year
the tug “TINO” was purchased and entered into service at the port of Huelva
where another company operated that later the same year was absorbed by AUXMASA. Since
then it has dedicated its energies mainly to achieving greater efficacy and efficiency in
the services provided, and to this end the tug fleet has been renovated as and when
necessary.
The Fleet
There are
now tugs that incorporate the most modern technological developments, both tractor and
conventional types, and these permit the company to attend to the needs of the port as
well as carrying out deep-sea towage. With its incorporation in the Boluda Group, Auxiliar
Marítima del Sur, S.A. has become part of a great international group, leader in the tug
business within which we can look forward to maximum growth.
