It was formed on December 14, 1972 after the death of its founder, Jose Facal, who had operated the towage service for the Port of Pasajes since 1948.

It has evolved parallel to the growth of the Port and apart from the normal services of towage, mooring and unmooring, firefighting, assistance to ships aground and other similar services of varying importance we have effected deep-sea towage work in Europe and Africa. At the present time, we are widening our market and carrying out transoceanic operations.
