 The Company
Founded in
1962 this Cantabrian company has been in continuous service at the port of Santander since
1973, and is joint concessionaire together with Reyser of the harbour tug service as well
as of the mooring service for zone "2" of the this port, both following public
tender by the Port Authority in 1994.

Remolques Unidos also in involved in deep-sea towage, escort, salvage firefighting and
anti-pollution work, etc
The Fleet
A modern
tug fleet is available with vessels from 570 to 4.500 hp. and bollard pull up to 55 tons,
equipped with Schottel azimuthing propulsion, transversal propellers, towing winch, crane,
firefighting systems FiFi-1, GMDSS communications, and others designed to achieve the best
performance in manoeuvring, bollard pull, etc.
